All systems are running properly at this time. However you may experience interruption in e-mail and website/domain availability issues for up to 48 hours from 5/1/2011 as we migrate to the Yahoo Servers.

This change was necessitated by spammers who broke through security on our email server and sent numerous unsolicited emails to the public. This swarm of spam caused internet black hole lists to list us as spammers and delayed or completely deleted some of our customers emails without notice. So we will host all services on Yahoo servers to take advantage of their superior security systems.

Below are the instructions you will need to configure your email client to receive your email from CustomCPU. But remember, if this is too frustrating or confusing you can always bring your computer to the shop and I will configure it for you while you wait........ No Charge....

 So here it is in a nutshell. Don't change anything until you receive an error when checking your e-mail. Then and only then should you make the changes listed below.

Your email address stays the same as it has always been.

Your Username should now be changed to your complete email address including the @customcpu.com or @customcpu.net part of the address.

Your incomming mail server address changes to:

pop.bizmail.yahoo.com 

place a checkmark indicating to use SSL and set the port address to 995,

for the outgoing mail server  the address changes to:

smtp.bizmail.yahoo.com

place a checkmark indicating to use SSL as well as the checkbox indicating "my server requires authentication" leave any advanced settings alone, but change the port address to 465.

If you prefer to use webmail services you will need to obtain a free yahoo email address and give it to me so I can link your email at customcpu with your Yahoo Information.
